failure in life. The following 25 rules are designed to help  you
approach customers in a better way.

1.You have to believe in yourself first. If you don't think you can do
it, who will?

2.A positive mental attitude is a must for any salesperson to succeed.

3.You have to set short term, Intermediate and Long term goals.

4.Listen to Tapes, read books, and attend seminars. What you have learned
put those techniques to your style and personality.

5.Learn one new technique every day. As you do you have 365 techniques
in one year. That will change your life for ever.

6.Use your car as a moving library.

7.Always visualize a sale taking place before it happens. That will
improve your self confidence.

8.With customers shake hands firmly.

9.When you talk to customers speak as though you are talking to a
friend.

10.You have to develop excellent telephone skills.

11.Active listening, paraphrasing and clarifying needs are vital.

12.Always take notes when a customer is talking. Also cultivate the
habit of listening.

13.Be very clear, concise and brief when communicating with customers.

14.Never sell for money sake. Always sell to help the customer.

15.Create a relationship with customers which will help to retain them.

16.You must believe in your company and the product you sell.

17.Always look professional. The way you dress, the way you talk, and
the way you look.

18.Be honest, be prompt and always tell the truth.

19.Always be humorous.Laughing signals approval. So try to make your
customers laugh.

20.Learn to recognise buying signals.

21.Ask questions to creat buying atmosphere.

22.Never argue with the customer.

23.Use the words as customer used to close the sale.

24.Hang around successful people. It is the best way to be successful.At
the same time avoid unsuccessful people.

25.Sell solutions not features. Customers donot care how it works, they
want to know how it will help them.
