Telesalestips for the Week 08-11-99
| The Brain The human brain is made of many parts. Each has a specific function:to turn sounds into speech, to process colour, to register fear, to recognise face and to distinguish an animal from a fruit. The human brain is as big as a coconut, the shape of a walnut. The brain has two hemispheres. The Cerebrum and the Cerebellum. The Cerebellum is the little brain. Each half of the Cerebrum is divided into four parts 1. Frontal Lobe-Which deals with the most integrated brain functions. a. Thinking b. Planning 2. Temporal Lobe-deals with sound, speech and some aspects of the memory. 3. Parietal Lobe-deals with function connected with Movement, calculation and certain types of recognition. 4. Occipital Lobe-deals with the Visual processing areas. Our brain comprises around 8.5% of our weight and yet it is complex beyond the wildest Imagination. 95% of the people have conditioned themselves to fail.Only 5% condition themselves to be successful.Television, radio, newspapers condition the human mind. The brain has two parts, the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious is the small part and the subconscious is the large part. The conscious part wakens when you wake up in the morning and when you go to sleep it stops functioning. But the subconscious starts the very second you come into existence and will stop the second you die. The conscious mind transmits messages to the subconscious mind and if you repeat if often enough it becomes registered and you become conditioned. So you should be very careful what you plant in your subconscious mind.So if you want to be happy, healthy and prosperous you should programme your subconscious mind. Charles Donoghue in his book "The choice is yours" says your mind is like an elephant which is tied to a small wooden stake. No matters how hard he tries, he cannot break the chain. The elephant's mind is conditioned to believe as long as he can see the stake in the ground he cannot move.95% of the people are like the circus elephant. They are restrained in thoughts, actions and results. Do not abuse your mind with wrong thoughts or your body with wrong food, alcohol and drugs. You must develop your mind and body and control your thoughts. control your thoughts and you will control your mind:control your mind and you will control your body. The practise of meditation on the breathe is the exercise in concentration, the benefits are many including relaxation of the mind and the body, increased ability to concentrate on everyday matters and the clarity of mind to see situations as they are, increased tranquillity and awareness.
