A Sales Manager must have the ability to Organise, Motivate and Train a Sales
Team.Through training sessions, coaching and motivating the sales manager
will mold his Sales People into a dynamic team and achieve sales targets.
Sales Manager should be highly skilled communicator, with planning
skills, organising skills and problem solving skills. He must be a
responsible individual capable of leading others to outstanding achievement.
He should be a leader and a friend. He should guide and motivate each
salesperson to reach sales target.

Sales Manager should be a person of moral courage, honest business practices
and personal integrity.He should have a pleasing personality, enthusiasm for
his work and a good knowledge of the company's products and services.Sales
Manager should not be afraid to make decisions. To go up the ladders of
success he should be dedicated and have good relationships with senior
managers. The Sales Manager must be profit oriented. He should not make
hasty decisions. He must be a fair disciplinerian.

Sales Manager must be seen to practice what is being preached. He must be a
capable and professional sales person. He should be able to sell their ideas
to people and to the management. Be a Creative Thinker. A Great leader and
have empathy for people.Sales Manager is like a coach. He must and should
develop his men into a team.
