Goal Setting

Successful people are goal oriented.They believe in themselves. They
have great imagination.They contribute to the society.They are
enthusiastic and radiate confidence. If you want to improve the quality
of your life you have to set goals. You live in a society that is
demanding, exciting, and rapidly changing. If you don't set goals you will
be lost. Only you can decide what goals you want to set. Make sure your
goals are really big enough fo fire up your emotions.

Your goals should be something you want.Have a clear statement of your
goals. The road to your goal may be a rough one.Therefore it is very
important for you to be emotionally involved with the idea of reaching
your goal.

Setting goals require dedication. Have short term, Intermediate and Long
term goals. Your goals must be clear and definite.Your goals are your
navigation for the future. Abraham Maslow said, "If you plan on being
anything less than you are capable of being, you will probably be unhappy
all the days of your life".

For goals to work they must be specific. You must state exactly what you
want.Goals must also be realistic and achievable. Goals must include
personality changes. Have a written plan and purpose of how and why you
want to achieve your goals. Keep a picture of your goals in your
diary, car, computer, office and carry these pictures with you where ever
you go.See them always. Hold the image in your mind of the person you
want to become.Let it saturate in your screen of your mind that you have
already achieved your goals. Be determined.

Break your goals down to daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and also 3 year and
5 year goals. Goals are easy to achieve if they are realistic. 95% of
people wish or dream but they never have any goals. Only 5% of the
people have written goals and they are successful.The greatest president
of the United States Abraham Lincoln started his carrier as a store
clerk. He was a school drop out.He ran for senate and lost. He ran for
Vice President and lost. He ran for Senate again and lost.He was
determined and he knew his goals will come true.He had the burning
desire and passion that made him the President of the United States.A
man many consider the greatest leader America has ever had.

Henry Ford  said, "If you think you can you can. If you think you can't you can't.

Successful people are successful because they set goals and see themselves as successful.
