for the Week 08-05-2000 The Power of your Mind John Kehoe in his Book "Mind Power" gives you various tools to improve yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. He says weak and scattered thoughts are weak and scattered forces. Strong and Concentrated thoughts are strong and concentrated forces. You have to strengthen your thoughts so they become more powerful. Your beliefs, fears, hopes, worries, attitude, behaviour, habits and each every thought you think have an effect on your life and on others. Working 10 to 15 hours a day, 7 days a week will never make you successful unless you have a right attitude and change your negative thinking. If you want to achieve anything in life you have to change your thinking. Last week I mentioned that your mind is like a garden which can be cultivated or neglected. You are the Master Gardener. You have the tools to cultivate the garden of your mind. You will reap the harvest of your work. Visualization Arnold Schwarzenegger the mega movie star and 5 times winner of Mr.Universe says "It is all in the mind". He said before he won the Mr.Universe title he would walk around the tournament like he had own it. He knew the title was his because he had already won the title many times in his mind. Similiarly before he became a movie star he visualized being a successful actor and earning big money. He could feel and taste success in the screen of his mind. Spend 5 to 10 minutes everyday in the morning and before going to bed. Visualize in the screen of your mind the things you want to enjoy, the position you want to hold, the place you want to go. See it, feel it, believe it as though you are already in possession of it. Any thought put into your mind and nourished regularly will produce results in your life. Affirmations Always affirm in the positive. Never make a negative statement. Keep your affirmation short. It should be easy and simple. Repeat the following affirmation " Every day in Every way its getting better and better". Do it 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night. Believe in yourself. Have immense faith in God and in what you do. Never say " I can't do" or It happens to me alone. Instead say "I can do it", I am a success. Always say Nature is good to me. Feed your subconscious mind with positive thoughts. Confident thoughts create a Confident Person. Strong thoughts create a strong person. Remember your Success helps many people. But your failure helps none. Fill your subconscious mind with positive and beatiful thoughts. W.Saga
